As of September 18, Pierre-Yves Monfrais will be offering an introduction to the practice of yoga nidra at Dechen Chöling every Wednesday, with one session at 6 pm and another at 7 pm. Taught in French.

About Yoga Nidra: also known as sleep yoga or dream yoga, it is a type of yoga which, through deep relaxation, seeks to achieve a modified state of consciousness. This powerful state allows practitioners to reach a state of relaxed wakefulness and lasting inner peace. Based on visualization and breathing practices, the practice activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which in turn promotes resilience.
