Dechen Chöling is situated in central France, near Limoges (Haute Vienne – Limousin), about 400 km south of Paris.
You can get here easily by train, plane, international bus or car and a shuttle service is available from the airport or train station, in addition to taxis or buses.
Traveling to Limoges
By train
The main train station near Dechen Chöling is Limoges-Bénédictins (about 3 hours travel from Paris-Austerlitz station; 30 minutes from Dechen Chöling (20km)). From Limoges, it is possible to get a connecting regional train to our closest train station: Saint Victurnien (10min).

By plane
There are direct, cheap fights from several airports in the UK (London Stansted, East Midlands, Liverpool and Southampton) and France (Lyon, Nice and Paris) to the Limoges-Bellegarde Airport. Companies flying to Limoges from the UK are Ryanair and Flybefrom. From France, Hop!, Twin Jet and Air France.
If you arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport (Roissy, North-East Paris), be sure to allow two hours to get to Gare d’Austerlitz in Paris.
By car
Limoges is located 4 hours from Paris (400 km) on the motorway A20 Paris-Toulouse (L’Occitane). The Dechen Chöling centre is west of Limoges (20 km from the city center), downstream on the Vienne.
