Helena Pellisé
Helena Pellisé is a professional dancer trained in contemporary dance and specialised in improvisation who has been dancing and teaching for the last 20 years. As a dancer, she performs her own creations and collaborates with artists from different disciplines. The essence of her teaching is that creativity is an inherent capacity of all human beings.
Helena has been a meditation practitioner since 2010 in the Shambhala Tibetan Buddhism tradition and is a vajrayana student of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. She has also received authorisations as a meditation guide and a Dharma Art teacher. Under the influence of this view, she incorporated a meditative approach into her dance improvisation practice, which led to the creation of Contemplative Movement® (CM) in 2016. CM is a dance discipline that integrates Dance, Meditation and Dharma Art to synchronize body-mind-emotion, connect with inherent creativity and manifest our authentic presence.
She is currently offering CM Training, a three-course program that deepens the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of this contemplative art practice. Helena is also the director of CAMÍ del Montseny, an international art and meditation centre located in the Montseny Natural Park (Barcelona) where she lives.
