Han De Wit
Han De Wit is a well-known Buddhist teacher from the Netherlands. He studied with Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche in the 1970s and 1980 in the United States. He established the first Shambhala center in Europe in Amsterdam in 1977. Since then he taught widely in Shambhala, Zen groups and elsewhere. He has a doctorate in psychology and has written several books on Buddhism. Two of his Dutch books are translated into French: Bouddha philosophe, and Le lotus et la Rose, and two others into English: Contemplative Psychology, and The Great Within.
