Guhyapati

Guhyapati has been exploring the interface of dharma practice, social change, and ecology since the 1980’s. He was ordained as a Dharmachari in the Triratna Buddhist Order in 1994. In
the early 2000’s he founded the Ecodharma Centre in a remote valley in the Catalan Pyrenees, where he still lives today. He has pioneered education, training, and retreats that integrate
Buddhism, ecology, and activism. From 2016 his organizational focus turned towards the Ulex Project, which he set up and nurtured into a thriving collective that provides learning for social
movements across Europe. Seeking to honour the bodhisattva principle of the inseparability of transforming self and world, his ongoing practice seeks to articulate a radical approach to
dharma and ecology that is robustly situated in our times.
