Gaëtane Hermans
Gaëtane Hermans posseses academic and life experience which inform her interest and competence in providing trainings and teachings based on mindfulness, art and nature.
Gaëtane has studied several fields, always intending to join the benefits of each one with only one goal: a safe and positive surrender and immersion in self awareness for participants from which to learn and grow. Mindfulness, art and a humanist-centric, human-care approach are the main focus of her taught programs.
Gaëtane is a certified teacher of MBSR, a program developed by the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society, University of Massachusetts Medical School. She is also a teacher of mindfulness for children, certified in the Eline Snel Method, Academie voor Mindful Teaching, Paris.
Gaëtane holds a Masters Degree in Transdisciplinary and Human Development Art Therapy, received at IATBA, Barcelona; a Masters Degree in Art Therapy, earned at the Medical Faculty of François Rablais University; and a Graduate of The School of Dharma Art Intensive: by Steve Saitzky & Herb Elsky, Dechen Chöling, Shambhala European Center. Gaëtane is also a Photographer. She is currently completing the 2nd year of Karuna Training in London.
Gaëtane lives in Spain where she teaches courses and conducts seminars in Mindfulness, Nature and Art.
Her career goal is to offer tailormade programs for business, education, and social organisations where human awareness, trust, and honest relationship with self and others support a new mindful attitude towards living a humane life. She is the mother of 2 children and is currently developing a non profit organization to support artists and the arts.
