Alice Buehler
Alice Buehler is a mother of two children and a practitioner of meditation since 1997, and a member of the Shambhala community since 2002.
When her first child was born, she became curious about how to combine practice with motherhood and how to support this in others.
In 2006, inspired by the teachings of Kerry MacLane, she helped to establish the family programmes in the Czech Shambhala sangha and since 2012 she has been leading a regular meditation and support group for mothers and women.
Alice was trained in the Mindfulness in Schools – dot.b Programme, is a Meditation Instructor in Shambhala and has served in many roles within the sangha. In her professional life, Alice works with young adults as a Study Advisor at an international university.
