ONLINE – Solstice Celebration Dechen Chöling 2020
Join us for a whole morning of Shambhala celebrations on Saturday June 20th, Summer Solstice.
We would like to offer everyone this opportunity to come together and to spend some virtual time at Dechen Chöling.
The day will begin with live sunrise meditation outside. There will be a lhasang and flag raising, chants and practice from Drala Hall, an invitation to take part in aimless wandering in your own environment, breakout discussion groups and a celebratory gathering with drinks and snacks.
We will also create a short film of Dechen Chöling (from a compilation of your offerings) and share it on the day.
We invite you to share any images, photos or video (2-4 minutes) that you would like to have included in the film. Make sure any sharing of images of people is respectful of privacy and that you have permissions where necessary. Please send to Fred van Welsem through [email protected] by June 11th. All are welcome to contribute to the film, whether you are able to participate on the day or not. The film will be made available to all after the event.
We hope you can join us for this gathering, under the banner of Shambhala, in celebrating our Sangha, waking up the Warriors and inviting the Dralas.
