The retreat will include everything you need to learn how to lucid dream and to wake up to your fullest potential. We’ll combine a 12-hour daily schedule with optional night-time practices to create the best possible conditions for having lucid dreams. 

The teachings incorporate movement and interactive exercises to help deepen the learning experience. 

We will explore: 

  • How to lucid dream
  • The benefits of lucid dreaming
  • Dream planning for the nocturnal practice
  • Mindfulness exercises and Yoga Nidra

The retreat includes teachings on the history, science, and practice of lucid dreaming, instructions on different techniques, and practical guidance on learning how to lucid dream.

  • Techniques for induce lucid dreams

How do the optional night-time practices work exactly? 

Participants can choose to spend the second half of the night sleeping in the workshop space, where they will be guided into several sessions of lucid dream practice. Alternatively, you are welcome to stay in your room if you prefer. 

The night-time wake-ups are entirely optional.

If you do intend to do the night-time sessions in the workshop space (instead of your room) please bring: 

  • A camping mattress/roll matt 
  • A sleeping bag/blanket
  • An extra pillow (if needed) 
  • Enthusiasm and a sense of humour!

This retreat takes a holistic approach to lucid dreaming best suited to those interested in personal development and spiritual growth. 

Practical

Arrival day: Tuesday, 28th October: Orientation talk at 8 pm. You’re invited to come from 4 pm in order to register and settle in your room. Dinner is served at 6.30 pm.

End of programme: Saturday, 1rst November: End of the retreat in the evening.

Departure day: Sunday,2nd November: You may leave anytime (no programme). You’re welcome to stay for lunch.

This programme is taught in English and will be translated in French. Requests for interpretation in other languages must be made in advance and confirmed (please indicate your request for interpretation on the registration page).

Price information

  • Regular: this is the regular price for participating in the programme. Occasionaly (if specified in the programme description), there may be an additional fee for materials, to be paid upon arrival.
  • Patron: for those who can offer more than the regular price, your generosity in paying the Patron Price helps cover the costs for others who are not able to pay the full programme price and provides support to Dechen Chöling.
  • Early Bird: 15% discount on the regular programme price is possible only if you register and pay the total cost of your stay upfront, 3 months prior to the start of the programme, i.e. before 28 July 2025.
  • Under 30 years of age: 50% reduction on the regular programme price for persons under 30 years at the start of the programme.

Accommodation: the standard accommodation we provide is in a dormitory for the winter and a furnished two-person tent in the summer. Extra fees for room upgrades can be paid upon arrival. Additionally, room tax will be charged at 0.22 € per person, per night.
