This is a somewhat overdue update…but we wanted to share with you that we hosted a European Forum here at Dechen Chöling in early June.
Around thirty participants from across Europe came together to engage with and discuss the future of Shambhala, practice and share time together, and celebrate as a community.
We created our own agenda and used Open Space Technology to consider our innermost values as individuals and as a society and asked ourselves what we want to bring forward to uplift each other, how we can enrich our world and what support we can offer. The aim of the gathering was to strengthen our European Identity through sharing our ideas and feelings within a supportive practice container.

A second European Forum is in the early stages of planning. We hope this will take place in early 2020 at a European venue that is accessible to all those interested.
